Iowa does have MANY non-shooters. Pretty sure ALL TEAMS will triple GARZA and but a body on #10. Easy template to follow and beat down Iowa.
Does Iowa have a shooter?

J W is 4th in the B1G in 3 point shooting. He went 1-10.

4-33 and 12% wint happen again. That said, a good team would have beat us by 20+ tonight.

Any team that is without 2 of their very best shooters is going to be short on shooters.

This Iowa team was built very well. 3 deadly outside shooters around a dominant big man and a slashing PG. But injuries have derailed things at the moment.

Hope the team can piece together some wins and CJ can recover. JT, BE, & CM are going to have to step up regardless.

If CJ has a season ending injury that's THREE in one year plus Pat's illness.

When I heard stress reaction I didn't like that at all. That's potentially a season ender.

Yeah there's not much you can do with it. Its the hamstring pull of non-muscle/soft tissue injuries, there's only one way to get better. Don't do anything outside of treatment. You can't play through it because it won't get better. Sometimes its a week, sometimes its months.

The 4-33 was always going to be bad because JT, BE, and CM were jacking up so many 3s because they were giving them to us. Cordell fucking Pemsl even shot one. But on a bad day those three guys make a couple more and on a bad day Wieskamp makes a couple more.

You're right tho that almost every other team would have beaten us by at least 20 tonight. If we could have snuck out a win, it would have been extremely lucky that we were playing Nebraska. Since we lost, it was about as unlucky as we could get that they were on the schedule tonight.

Even when Nebraska did something good they looked terrible. They are so fucking bad. Indiana almost Lost to them on their home court too. That game looked like our game with Nebraska last year. They just started making everything out of nowhere and were still so bad they couldn't win.

Lucky to be within striking distance. If Fredrick is done then their chances have taken a serious hit.

Years ago the Steelers spent a high draft pick on an offensive lineman from UCLA who ended up suffering from a stress fracture in training camp. He never played a single down in the NFL

We had a running back from our local high school who tried to walk on at Iowa but had a foot issue that required two surgeries. It took him almost two full years to completely recover. They initially thought it was just a sprain.

He ended up transferring to U of Dubuque and was able to play last year. Just goes to show how tricky foot injuries can be-and how difficult they can be to accurately diagnose.

Did he crack the starting lineup?

He was second string behind a senior. He started a couple games when the senior was out, ran for over 200 in one of them.

He played sparingly the last two games because the senior was in position to set the school career rushing record. He did, but it won't last long.
