iowa Nebby TV Coverage...Isn't It Great...

...that so many fans are so upset about this game not being televised?

In 2.5 seasons, Fran has erased the apathy that was getting stronger each year before his hire.

I LOVE that I HATE not being able to view the game tomorrow, if that makes sense.

A win tomorrow would match the Iowa's win total from last year. Take care of business, Hawks!
 




Sucks. I didn't realize we hadn't already surpassed our wins from last year. I'd like I see over 20 and a winning record in conference.
 


No regular TV does suck but between regular radio, internet radio and the "webcast" streaming we should all be thankful for the coverage we all can get no matter where in the world we reside.

At one time there was a Saturday-Monday evening schedule that allowed for a weekly Big Ten game of the week on Saturday TV and Iowa got on 2 or 3 times a year. We could all listen to the games but depending upon game time would determine if you could read a story or 2, along with the box score the day following... or have to wait 2 days.

We are soft... fans are so soft...

We have already surpassed our regular season win total from last year. But the improvement from last year goes well beyond wins and losses, the reasons we are winning this year are much more sustainable than last year. We are no longer counting on one player to get hot and for us to have to outscore the opponent, we are winning with defense and rebounding this year as well as balanced offensive contributions.
 


It is neat how far along the program as come, 3 years ago I could have cared less if the Iowa game was televised or not. I used to fall asleep watching the games anyway if they came on at night.
 


How can that many people not have access to the game tomorrow? All you need is a computer, tablet or a smartphone, an internet connection and a cable or satellite plan that you pay for that includes BTN.

Am I missing something?

Not everyone has a cable provider which offers BTN2GO. I have a cable provider who carries the Big 10 Network but they don't offer the BTN2GO part of that package.

That is how people who have the Big 10 Network don't have BTN2GO.

Never thought of that. Mediacom is on there so I figured most everybody else's provider would be offered.

In my best Nelson Muntz voice..."HAH HAH".
 


It's definitely a lot different for me this year. I've done it all. I bought the All Access pass for non con and watched games on the computer. I eventually upgraded my cable so I could easily watch on my tv. Last year I caught what I could on the radio. The year before that I didn't even bother if it wasn't on tv.

We have surpassed our regular season win total. I was referring to our overall wins. Last year, Iowa finished 18-17, after going 1-1 in both the BTT and NIT.

We are currently 17-9 with five regular season games left.
 


Glad I have Mediacom. I can watch BTN2Go on my android or laptop. Guess I'll just hook the laptop up to the TV tomorrow.

Can't wait for the new tivo's coming out soon too.

Dude...it's still here...I'm looking at it right now...
 




I have had an appleTV sitting in my cabinet for about 6 months (tossed it in the basket when we got our Mac).

Too much work to yank the tv off the wall, run the cords through the wall, etc.

Tomorrow, I'm either doing the whole project, or temporarily running the appleTV, so I can watch the game on a screen bigger than my iPad.
