Iowa NCAA tournament watch

So far this weekend 3 teams that are in competition with Iowa for a #4 seed and hosting are:

Northwestern
Texas A&M
Oregon State

Indiana plays Maryland, that’s a likely loss for Indiana, and that should keep them from jumping from 4 to 5.

Home attendance is also a factor in this, so if it’s close they will go with Iowa.
 
Iowa’s was the top #4 seed going into this week. They can afford to drop 3 spots and maintain home court advantage.
 
Indiana did lose, they are out of contention for a top 4 seed now. That’s one less team for Iowa to worry about.

Texas A&M lost along with Northwestern. I think Oregon St. lost to Stanford.
 
Too bad the ladies lost so early in the tourney but they seemed to be struggling some going down the stretch. They can get it back together and make a big ncaa splash.
 
The selection show will be at 6:00 PM central time Monday March 16. After the incident last year I hope they get it right and avoid the leaks.
 
There were a ton of upsets today! Baylor, Louisville, UCLA for just a few. Texas A&M has lost 3 in a row.
 
We might still hang on. An interesting tidbit from today. Baylor lost to the clowns today. #1. Clowns never scored a bucket in the second quarter. #2. Clowns used a triangle and 2 against them. #3. Lauren Cox isn't quite as good as she was last year. Maybe her foot injury has hindered her or maybe since Brown graduated she just isn't as good. Thought I'd throw that out there since the Hawks will probably be running into them real soon. That A. Joens for the clowns sure gets away with a lot fouling.
 
That should help Iowa's RPI with better strength of schedule. I sure plan to attend Iowa's NCAA tournament games.
