Iowa-MSU Postgame Interviews/Photos

I don’t understand why Iowa won’t blitz and scheme teams that do the same to us?

Michigan States quarterback I think had one more start than Stanley and we just sit back. Whereas Michigan State blitzed us and made Stanley uncomfortable. Why not do the same to them that they do to us? Make their quarterback uncomfortable that could force him into a mistake or two.

When we blitz, we rarely get home...and get burnt. Parker has done well, but he is not good at designing blitzes.

The Iowa defense is the least of my concerns

Bc Parker's idea of a blitz is sending a corner or safety from a mile away who is easy to spot, pick up, and is coming from too far away to even shorten the QBs clock anyway. Poor design just like 99% of Iowa's strategy on all sides of the ball. Look how bad TX made Park look by constantly putting pressure on him and making him uncomfortable? Hell look how bad other teams make Stanley look by bringing pressure frequently. I just don't understand why KF can't admit he's wrong and ADAPT like every other goddamn program in the country. I've been a Hawk fan all my life, but I don't know how much more KF football I can take. I love college football, but Iowa just isn't fun and hasn't been for a long time. "Good" seasons are defined by some lucky bounces, weak schedules and curb-stomping bowl losses at the end of the year just to remove any doubt as to whether or not Iowa was really a good team. I've lived in WI for almost 5 years now and find their games more enjoyable to watch by a mile. That trend will probably continue as Brian appears to share the same f'd offensive philosophies as his dad.
