Unfortunately I think he ends up at Florida. Iowa has a ton to sell TEs right now but dad playing at Florida will likely be too much.
I would say he’s another classic example of why the star ratings are pretty worthless. A Florida TE with Alabama, Iowa, and Wisconsin offers, three of the best TE schools in the country. This kid is 4* talent at least.
Iowa is in on some other good looking TE prospects as well in this class so I’m sure we will be fine.

I don't know. I have a pretty good feeling about this.
With a dad that played, he is definitely looking to play on Sundays. I think we have just as much if not more to offer than any other school.
But I am getting a good vibe about a bunch of recruits, I think we are heading for something pretty special.

The kid and his family just forked out money to travel to Iowa in the winter to visit on a Juniors Day.
There is some mutual interest.

I’m one of the most bullish posters around here when it comes to Iowa’s recent recruitng success and the 2020 class. I just think this one is going to be tough.
As I stated we are in on plenty of other good looking TEs and are going to have the NFL draft as exhibit A on why to come to Iowa.
Can’t land em all.

Seems pretty unlikely. Iowa is getting the final visit from TE Caleb Fauria and two guys at 247 have crystal balled him to the Hawks. He would be a quality get as well (listed as a WR but projects as a TE).

After that it seems less likely on the other guys. Odom many think will be heading to Florida where his dad played. Theo has a host of schools on him. I’m sure Iowa would welcome either of those guys but seems unlikely at this point.

Fauria has a great frame for a TE at 6'5" 216 lbs. Put a little more muscle on him and he could definitely be a force. He didn't seem to have blazing speed from what I saw in those videos so TE is probably a better fit than WR.
