Iowa Lands Florida WR

I read this guys other offers are from Jacksonville State and Tulane. While I realize our coaches have found some diamonds in the rough over the years and I think Soup Campbell is our best coach, is this really as good of a WR as we can get at this point, even after the success of a McNutt? Does this mean we are behind on Darboh or just are taking a few WR's?

It could be that the coaches like him that much regardless of his ranking. We still have numerous offers out to more highly ranked receivers. We've also had the majority of our targeted receiver recruits commit to other schools. They probably like this kid and want to make sure they land a kid they like.

Hopefully that is not his number still. He is going to be very tired of ISU fans calling to harass him if it is.

This kids tape looks great. He makes some really nice catches where he goes up and gets the ball, and catches with guys draped on him. He also doesn't seems pretty strong because he wasn't going down easy.

Hopefully a diamond in the rough, if he would have picked any of the other schools that offered over us I would be very concerned.

ahhh...I see...probably best not to call it...he probably was marketing himself to college coaches.

Just watch out for ip hits from East Lansing and Madison. Good looking athlete, very fluid, fast, catches with his hands.... Welcome to Iowa

I alway thought Iowa would take 2-3 WR in this class. I'm guessing that they have one offer out to Darboh for that 3rd spot. If he takes it great, if not, we have 2 WR in this class.

I have no idea how Darboh feels, but this is my initial thought.
