Iowa HS football players to watch

This is a homer call by me because my friend coaches there but:
Carlisle has a QB thats a Junior that could be pretty good. He became the starter last year as a sophomore in the 3rd week because of an injury. and threw for 1,200 yards in a triple option offense. His main target was listed in the Register as a "player to watch" in 3A because he had 37 catches for over 750 yards. QB- Jeremy Flaws WR-Brady Roland
But I'm not a football scout so i have no idea where their talent translates to...
i just know they're fun to watch

His name is Barkley Hill and he was only a sophmore last yr and was the best running back in Iowa.

Cedar Falls High's Barkley Hill, class of 2012, already has an offer from Iowa State. Rivals reports that he received it at their Friday night camp this summer. Hill was at Iowa's one day camp this summer, but no offer from Iowa yet.

So far the only Iowa offer for the Iowa H.S. class of 2012 is to WDM Dowling wide receiver Amara Darboh.

Cedar Rapids Kennedy's Christian French. Played mostly safety last year. Will be all over the field this year on both offense and defense.

I thought Darboh was going to play Bball in college, not sure where i heard that.

looks like he has a pretty nice list of interests. Including Notre Dame, Nebraska and Wisconsin (has only been offered by ISU and Iowa)

Had a nice TD catch in the highlights I saw from the Valley/Dowling game.

Any idea which way he is leaning? Might be too early yet.

Amara has only played football for two years, he has always loved basketball. He will play football in college. Right now I would say he is leaning towards Iowa, but he is waiting on the Notre Dame offer. That would probably make things a little interesting.

I've heard that he is leaning towards Iowa as well, but things can always change. He is gonna be good, he is so raw right now only playing football for a couple years.

There are a few kids on Dowling that are getting looks from both Iowa and ISU it seems like.

I don't know much about him, but I believe I heard that the Hawks were looking at Solon's Derrick Loveless. I only saw him play at the state baseball tournament, and he looked like a WR or DB recruit to me, though he plays QB for Solon, doesn't he?

Yeah, I honestly think it is too early to say. I mean he is one game into his junior year. Everything came together for him so fast, and he is still getting better! I talk to him from time to time, and I have never flat out asked him which way he's leaning, although I have talked up the Hawks a bit. ;)

Not sure what his name is, but the QB for Ankeny...I know he split time last year as a freshman, which is pretty dang impressive with the talent there, and had some crazy stats in his first game as a sophmore this year.
