Iowa Football Picks Up Commitment from Jacob Bostick

I just got off the lake and saw Keller committed to ISU. Iowa is about to go 0 for the past 2 years on their top TE targets

Yeah I'm only bummed that ISU might be getting a good one. Not so much that we didn't get him. We are pretty well set with talent at that spot and can often turn water into wine even when we don't. So as long as he doesn't have big games against us I'm not to bent about it.

All that matters is that they are big and ugly and can block. I can’t imagine how awesome our offense would be with an NFL drafted tight end, let alone two NFL drafted tight ends in the same year. What would a wise and prudent offensive coordinator do with a situation like that??? Oh that’s right………. disregard that question as we already saw the answer to that with the exception of WISE and PRUDENT.

Devonta Smith looked small and breakable.
It's just about how you use guys like that. You don't pound em between the tackles for 20 touches a game. Or run them over the middle on passing plays to get blasted over and over. You find creative ways to get them the ball in space and let them run and avoid major hits.

We pushed our luck with Wadley at times it seemed like but he held up pretty darn well for how he was built. Sometimes it's just that when it comes to injuries. Luck.
