Iowa Fans-Cleveland Fans?

I read an article this morning about what the Cleveland fans are saying and doing with regard to Miami's failure to win the championship this year. It kind of reminded me of what I hear here when Iowa loses a recruit to another school. I can say that I have had that "hate" feeling when a commit decides against the Hawkeyes, but it soon passes and it's not personal. I have read posts from fans that become rabid with hate and I even recall posts hoping for a career ending injury to that player. Cleveland fans are doing exactly the same thing with Labron. I can't recall that much hate ever against one person. Just wondering if it is a midwestern thing or if fans from around the country are just as likely to respond so vehemently when they lose a player. Miami finished with 39 more wins than Cleveland this year so I wonder if its just a kick in the face or just trying to find excuses why they sucked so bad. The way Labron played in the fourth quarter during the playoffs tells me that "he ain't all that".
