Iowa's dual streak is at 61 and it appears the biggest challenges this year will be Okie State, Penn State, and Minnesota. Assuming Iowa continues winning they will be at 70, 73, and 77 wins respectively. I used TOM's rankings from today to compare these 4 teams and here's the results based on number matches won/lost:
OSU 5-5
PSU 5-5
Minn 7-3
OSU isn't as tough on paper right now with Meade and Benefiel out, as well as Parks/White both at 149. I gave the Hawks the benefit at 141 where no one except Minny currently has a ranked wrestler. Also, TOM shows Kerr as #11 at 165. Minnesota currently looks like the toughest team the Hawks will face this season (Iowa doesn't wrestle Wisky this year until the Big10 tourney). I realize this isn't the best way to compare/predict, but there's not much else to go on at this point in the season.
