Iowa Big 10 Championship Game Thread

I have some real concerns with this group moving forward and I believe Lisa and her staff do too. McKenna seems to be disjointed the last 4 games. I know foul trouble yesterday but she is a step slow, shot is not falling, and just not her normal sharp shooting self. Gabby is in one of those funks that is extremely difficult to get out of. I would love to see Lisa come up with some designed plays early today to get her a couple wide open looks at 3. We cannot and will not go deep in the NCAA tournament without her scoring. She always is a good defender but we are not talented enough deep in the tournament to have 3 girls scoring. I would of put Martin in the same category as Gabby and McKenna until the last 2 games. Now if she could find that stroke and get us 3-3's a game. O'Grady where do I start, she is coming on at a great time. I would love to see Lisa sub Warnock out once and put O'Grady and Monika on the floor together. WOW they would be incredible together. This team makes a sweet 16 run with 5 players in double figures, this team wins one or 2 with 3 players scoring double figures. Go Hawks today, the key today will be our legs and our ability to shoot and defend 3's. As always the officiating will be horrendous...women's basketball referee's are worst than HS officials. GO HAWKS...

It will be interesting to see who has the better legs and conditioning. Iowa is playing their 3rd game in 3 days while Indiana is playing their 4th game in 4 days. You could see the leg fatigue set in for Nebraska last night, their jump shots were hitting the front of the rim or didn't hit the rim at all. When your legs get tired it affects your jump shot big time. Hopefully Indiana's legs will be gel by the time the 4th quarter rolls around.
 
See if Iowa can beat Indiana for the 3rd time.....sometimes beating a team 3 times in the same season can be hard to accomplish.
 
Iowa up 35 to 33 at the half. Czinano with 16, Clark 10, Martin 7.Iowa continues to play great defense holding Indiana to 29% on field goals.

Indiana is shooting 38%. I'm not sure I'd call it great defense as Indiana is missing some wide open looks.

Iowa is struggling to hit 3's or this game would be a double digit lead for Iowa. Warnock or Marshall need to step up in the 2nd half, right now Martin, Czinano, and Clark are providing almost all the scoring.
 
I dont watch as much women's bball but I do have to say these big officials are very inconsistent at best and pretty bad at worst. Some real head scratching no calls and then calls

Officiating is bad across the board in womens basketball
