With the Frosh class we have coming in joining Marble, McCabe, White, and Basabe we have to feel extremely excited for next year and going forward.
At what point next year do you think Iowa will break into the national rankings?
A little premature to have expectations like that IMO.

The great thing about predictions is that they either come true or they don't. I've posted mine. You two nitwits on the other hand sit back and cast stones.
How do you think next years team will fare?

they are going to need to go through the non-conference schedule fairly easily and then hit their stride during the conference season. quickest they get ranked is 1/3 through conference and that is basically being perfect. but since they will rely on a lot of frosh i dont think they get into the top 25. but if they can get solid wins and stay away from bad losses they could be in the top 1/2 of the big 10 which is a dance invite. then it is about who can get hot and make some noise for rankings the next year.
Is the schedule set for next year? If they start the year 8-0, 8-1, etc. they will be ranked. If St. Louis is ranked at 6-0, Harvard is ranked at 8-0 & Murray State is ranked at 10-0, Iowa would be ranked at 8-0.
I don't care who they play, if they go 10-0 to they will be ranked. So assume 4 of the first 8 games would include Drake, UNI and ISU..
1 ACC Opponent on the road, ISU might be ranked to start the year (depending on
if White comes back).. So pre-conference schedule could be pretty good
Where they are picked in the pre-season Big 10 might also come into play.
If they are picked in the bottom half would take a few extra wins to be considerered a top 25 team.
i think you`re all blind fools who sit in front porch and telling some oldtimers some bull.... stories
