The Iowa Most Valuable Player Award was presented annually to an Iowa player or players from 1946-2007. THEN IT STOPPED. Was this a Licklter thing? Are we going to start awarding it again?

I know at my school, it varied from sport to sport. For baseball, our team voted for MVP, as the coach thought that it showed respect from teammates. For basketball, my coach's opinion was that an MVP award put too much emphasis on an individual rather than a team.

Well we do have the Chris Street award, and it goes to...............Aaron White???? he reminds me of Street more and more, or more than anybody we've had since Chris.
