Iowa averages a dozen IA recruits per year

Iowa usually gives out about a dozen scholarships to in-state recruits in football each year... this year we have only landed 2 Iowans so far. Is this an odd year lacking Iowa HS players good enough for Div 1 or is it a shift in recruiting? We still have offers out, but not many Iowa kids.

You are incredibly wrong if you actually think Kirk signs that many Iowa kids, here are the real numbers:

2006 - 1
2007 - 6
2008 - 3
2009 - 9
2010 - 5

Yes, I should have said we usually have 12 Iowa kids on the roster per year, and with a class of 2009 being a very good year in the state of Iowa.

I am just curious how many Iowa HS recruits we may see on the Hawkeye roster outside of possibly French.

As far as kids listed from IA on the roster, we have 12 Sr, 7 Jr, 12 So, and 14 Fr. Sorry for the confusion between offering and walking on. I didn't intend that to be the point.
