Iowa -5/-7

Opened at 7 and people pounced on Sconnie. Now at minus 5. I recall the Michigan spread was like 6 and I thought Vegas knew something. Hopefully they know something about tomorrow too. Sounds high, but is it?

Brust does not worry me. Even when 100%. Him we can control him.

Kominsky is the one I'm concerned with.

Honestly, I would have been tempted to take Wisconsin had it opened up at 7 on the site I use. I just think that is too many points, and Wiscy has been playing some really good basketball. They opened it up at 5 on my site tho, and now it has moved to 5.5. Who knows how the Hawks are gonna come out after a week off and the debacle in Bloomington. Wish it were a bit smaller so I'd feel more comfortable backin the Hawks, but I'm just gonna stay away and root for the W.

It's really pretty simple...we shoot the ball well, we win. We are more athletic, deeper, rebound better, and are better defensively. The only variable that points to a Wisconsin win is Iowa shooting 3-20 from three and missing a bunch of bunnies like they did at Wisconsin. In the second half of that game, we missed a ton of shots in the paint and off second chances. We shoot decent we win...we don't, it's a nail biter. Sound familiar?

If we play our best defense we win IMO. Wisconsin doesn't have a bunch of guys that can create shots. Play solid on the defensive end and winning shouldn't be a problem...just the margin of victory IMO.

It is this simple as far as getting the win. If Iowa shoots well I agree they will win. However, the one area of your comparison that I can't quite get on board with is the comparison to the previous game. Wisconsin is playing at the highest level they've been playing at all year. They have to have a lot of confidence right now. Brust is a big wildcard though.
