Iowa # 15 in latest AP Poll

Good jump for Wisky, but nice to see Iowa still ranked ahead of them. Big fall for the Wolverines and Sparty.

Thats a tight group.

If Iowa wins both games this week, and MSU loses 1 (or both) of theirs, the Hawkeyes will be the highest rated team in the Big Ten. Lot of if's there, but I feel very good about Michigan taking down MSU at Ann Arbor and the Hawkeyes going 2-0.

I honestly don't know who I would go for in that game. Michigan at times plays like they want to win, but teams now know how to guard the Canadian Slim Shady. But on the flip side, MSU is depleted with injuries and just lost to Nebraska. It would have to be a coin flip for me. But with either team losing, it will help us. But it will help us more if Michigan wins.

I don't see a signature win on the schedule for St. Louis. Even though both their losses are to Big Ten teams, they have a better ranking than any of the Big Ten teams.

Seeding will be rather complicated, but I expect St. Louis will dive about 5 to 7 spots when they lose to somebody like a George Mason (9-16) or another weak Atlantic 10 team on the road.

Never know, the Boilermakers may take down Sparty this Thursday night at Keady Court.

Completely disagree. Michigan has a pretty soft schedule the rest of the way and we still play MSU. So I'd rather see the one team ahead of us, that we don't have another opportunity to hang a loss on, lose to the one team ahead of us that we DO still have an opportunity to beat.

I agree w 3308.

MSU beating MICH, sets up a game w direct title ramifications, what else could Iowa hope for.

(there are many transition buckets and defensive stops to be achieved still...)

I think there is a good chance of this happening. Watching Purdue play against Indiana, I'm not so sure the Purdue game isn't the one I'm most worried about the rest of the way.

You realize this is a home game right? Not worried...2nd easiest game left.
