Seems low to me considering theyve played back to back OT games against inferior opponents. They rise up for these games though.

Also get ready for Kinnick to be 20% NDSU fans. They travel really well and gobbled up a ton of tickets from what I've heard.

It means Iowa "gives" 14.5 points if you're betting the spread, they're a 14.5 point favorite. The 48.5 is total points projected by both teams.

It translates to basically 31-17 IOWA. a 14 point difference with a point total of 48 (48-14) /2 = 17.

So NDSU 17 Iowa 17 + 14, or 31. (I left out the .5 for simplicity sake)
