Yep, I read that, lots of stats bouncing around. I think were all at the sturation point. Ready to just tee it up and play. LSU played more good teams than Iowa did. LSU beat more good teams than Iowa did. If Iowa wins nobody will re-thnk the underlying pemises. No biggie. I see this bowl game as a great opportunity for the hawks as the reemerge form the ashes.
IMO, if LSU gets more than 24, than LSU wins the game.
I'm confident with the Iowa rushing defense, a little nervous with the passing defense.
A bunch of short passes to the sidelines tends to eat up our defense.

Don't worry you guys will cover. We are a year out from being back to what I'd call formidable. But with our 1st Round Draft Pick coming back for his Sr. year and our QB and RBs all back if we get ANYTHING From our WRs next year we are going to be tough to handle.

Great to have you on the board. I have some thoughts...Our defense is really very solid. I think without a doubt you will see Iowa load the box and drop back in our patented cover 2 base defense. We will force your young QB to beat us. I think one thing you will see from Iowa is some interesting line stunts and schemes, we tend to stand all 4 linemen up and move them around before the snap. It has proved to be very effective against teams...I think it will confuse your young QB. Our linebackers are in my opinion 3 of the best in the country PERIOD. Our offense is a key to this game...if we can establish the line of scrimmage you will Iowa eat clock, eat clock and hit some great play action passes to our NFL tight end CJ. I am not sold on the fact your team is super excited about this match-up or being at this bowl. Just MY GUT FEELING...Iowa's staff prepares for bowl games as good as anybody in the country! I look forward to warm Tampa weather...and some cocktails with some great LSU fans. I have been going to the college world series in Omaha for 40 years, and some of the best times I have had are with LSU baseball fans. I think you guys will find most Iowa fans fun and level headed...see you guys in Tampa

I have relatives that are from Baton Rouge and they have been coming to the CWS for the past 30+ years. They come for the whole thing too, whether LSU makes it or not. They follow LSU everywhere. I have also been going for the whole 1st week of the CWS for the last 6 years, as my sister lives in Omaha and it's a great time watching baseball and tailgating!
My relatives are pretty level-headed when it comes to LSU baseball and football, and so are their many friends that we have met over the years. We both think that it should be a fun time and hope that both teams put forth their best efforts. More than anything I want our Hawks to show up and use our toughness to try and negate that SEC speed and athleticism.
