Say what you will about yesterdays game, if someone would have told me that we were going to average 2.5 yards per rush, pass for 65 yds, that Tory Taylor was going to have one of his worst punting games, that DeJean would have yet another return called back and that we would end up with 10 points total, I don't think any one of us would have predicted a win. The goal line stand was beautiful- that the grounds crew would have to call a timeout between each down to repair (talk about "digging in") was something you wouldn't expect to see in a game, except for an Iowa slogfest like this.......
Note to future schedulers: Wrigley is a baseball field, ok? The only game that should be permitted to be played on a different sports field is an Iowa women's basketball exhibition......
