I know everyone has their own favorite team, but how can the Colts not be your second favorite team?!

DC, Bobby, Mitch King and NOW Angerer!!! Those are four of my favorite Hawks of all-time! I really wish my favorite team (Niners) would pick up a Hawkeye or two!

Plus, the coaching staff in Indy is full of former Hawks! Love it!

I would agree Colts are my favorite team as well as Hawks!!!! Go Hawks perfect fit for Pat in Indy as well.

J. Caldwell, Tom Moore, Larry Coyer all were Hawkeyes at one time. Caldwell and Moore played also, Coyer was Caldwell's position coach. Clark, Sanders, Mitch King and now, Angerer. I have season tickets to the Colts, and I feel like the team is personally acquiring and drafting my favorite Hawks. Strange, beautiful, and I ain't complainin'.

Got into an argument a little while back on this board with a fella who was making a case that the most Iowa like NFL team, playing wise, was the Jets, and how sweet it was for them to have Greene as well. I still don't understand Hawks fans who don't appreciate what the Colts have become, how much respect the organization shows Hawkeye football, and how closely linked, yes even in playing styles, both teams are. I think folks just equate the Colts with Manning... but Black and Gold runs through Indy so much deeper than any other team. Oh well....

When training camp rolls around, I can't wait to go out and watch King, Angerer and Sanders flying around. Defense is going to look like a reunion out there.

Go Hawks, Go Colts.

I love the Colts, as I said earlier. My 2nd fav team. I love all the Hawks on the team, and I am a fan of Peyton Manning. He is just fun to watch.

You're friends are right. I'm a Colts fan, but the Jets are the most Hawkeye-like team, just going by the style of play. They play run-first, and with Sanchez/Holmes/Edwards/Keller, they will have a big-play passing game (much like we did last year with Stanzi/DJK/McNutt/Moeaki). So in that sense, they are the most alike with the Hawks.
