Indiana crowd - Basabe

At the end of the game as the cameras briefly caught the teams heading to the locker rooms I thought it looked like some members of the Indiana crowd were jawing w/ Basabe. It was a brief shot and it is possible Mel was talking to some Iowa fans or to someone he knows. Anyone else catch that?

If the Indiana fans were getting into it with Mel, I would be surprised. As much as they cheer the Hoosiers and boo when calls go against them, I don't get the sense they toss verbal crap at opponents.

yeah i saw him say something to Gatens dad. Indiana fans dont seem to be the type of fans. i could be wrong, but they seem to be a fairly classy bunch

Hard to tell from the brief shot but that makes sense. Agreed on Hoosier fans.
