In-state prospect IOWA needs to get after

This young guy has 7 pass interceptions in games, this season.
He's 6 ft 1" and 180, so could obviously play either corner or Safety at the
College level........Yes, D1.

Keyan McAreavy is a late bloomer, a senior, who is right under the noses of the
Hawkeyes at Clear Creek Amana.

Why not give him an opportunity......he comes from an
Athletic family, as well. Could be the Bo Bowers of 2014.

GO HAWKS

They never offered Kilfoy from Assumption, and he had a lot more interceptions than that, against much better competition, and he took most of them back to the house. He's currently starting at safety for UNI.

These smalltown phenoms can put up some fun stats, but it's more than a little clueless to think that Iowa should be wasting roster spots on most of them.

Didn't BGM have a kid return like 6 punts for TDs last year? He scored a TD like every 3rd time he touched the ball between offense, defense, and special teams. I think he's currently mixing the vente frappaccinos at your nearest Starbucks.

That is indeed hilarious and too, too Rich. A little over a year ago, I posted on "TOS' that Iowa should offer Drew Cook.
Almost every 'expert' poster there replied, he wouldn't be offered, or would 'have to walk on'. Now, Drew is one of the most heralded kids in the 2015 class and is #1 in Iowa from some services. So, don't call it clueless. Open your eyes instead.

I'm in favor of going after anybody who can help us. As long as we go after bigger name players we can also uncover some diamonds in the rough.

He'll never play a meaningful snap at Iowa if he's intent on playing QB.

He makes AJ Derby look like Joe Montana.

And your talent evaluation skills suck.

I don't believe Drew was recruited as a quarterback. I thought I read the plan is for him to play tight end.

I think they said they would let him take a shot at QB. Kid is smart though, I'm guessing he will switch to a position that he can get on the field sooner at.
