Most are walkons. Is it just me or does it seem we will have linebackers playing every position three years from now. My god...how many can you add. Talk about playing the odds here.
More like a 4-5-2.Moving to a 3-4 duh
This is not a good looking class for lb in the future. Lots of missesLB rebuilding year...
Maybe, but I don't think the cupboard is quite bare. We went LB heavy in '16, a lot of whom are already popping up on the depth chart (Jones, Welch, and the younger Niemann come to mind), and we're in early on a lot of good prospects for next season. I wouldn't say it's quite time to worry. This is not a good looking class for lb in the future. Lots of misses

Well, duh, that's how college football works. I'm saying they're jumping over older players. Hockaday was supposed to be the heir apparent at MLB before Welch supplanted him, and Jones is beating out Mends atm, who is widely regarded as a terrific athlete. Both of those guys have been on the depth chart all season. It's easy to pop up on the depth chart when all the starters leave
Oh no, not at all. The time to worry will be the start of the conference schedule when we're playing 3 linebackers with no experience, or barely any experience. Yes, because no one behind them has played football ever, and it's not like they were able to turn a 2-star afterthought that was going to D-III into the greatest LB in program history after losing yet another 3 starters just one year prior. I'm not saying they're gonna be all-stars, but given our defensive staff and their track record, the sky is far from falling.Oh no, not at all.
