Just want to post this so no one can say they didn't know...
In game threads tend to get heated, emotional and out of control.
I would prefer that people take part in our game day chats that we will have, but I am not going to disallow in game threads...at least not yet.
If you want to participate in an in game thread, be respectful. You can criticize; this site will not be without criticism. But fairness and respectful decorum will be expected.
Saying 'Player X SUCKS!' is third grade recess mentality, and we're not going to go for that here. I never have. I didn't moderate the old football forum as closely as I should have on this front, but on this new site, we'll set the tone from the start.
Again, I am not saying criticism is not allowed. I am saying that you need to provide the why and not the flame. If you know you are incapable of doing that, they choose to stay away from the in game chat threads. If you can't stay away, and you choose to get emotional and out of hand, I will be going through the in game thread after its over and will be removing offending posters from this forum, by IP address, and they will no longer be allowed to have any part on our message boards. And an excuse of you didn't know the rules or didn't read this post is not going to be acceptable, nor will it create lenience. This forum is going to be a fun place to visit for all people, and harsh negativity and insults will not be tolerated. In fact, if you see examples of this, please email me with a link to what you see so that I can look into it.
