At 6' 7" big Jack Plumb needs about 33 more lbs. to play...45 more if we're being realistic. I think he has the frame...just might take awhile.

3 pounds a month and a lot of weight room time.
12 full months until spring ball again and 17-18 months until the 2020 season. He can certainly make 45 pounds and add a lot of strength by then.

On the offense two deep, 10 of the 12 backups are either sophomores or red shirt freshmen. On D, 9 of 11 backups are freshmen or sophomores. Interesting.
 
Plumb played TE in high school. He’ll get there. He hasn’t been on campus a full year yet.
 
I would still say it is more likely that Banwart starts at center at the beginning of next season. Linderbaum may have the physical attributes and talent, but he has no college level experience on the offensive line. My guess is he will apprentice at the guard position next season.
