Imagine if Ferentz had to coach against this guy in the Big Ten

Ferentz should spend a weekend with this guy. His head might explode...but he should spend a weekend with him.

What the guy says at the 11:00 minute mark...is as if he's talking about KFz.

It reminds me of those ATT cellular comercials with the guy and the 4 kids, "So what is better for your team to win? Turn the ball over or keep the ball?" Smartkid answer: You could always kick it off "onsides" and get the ball back everytime, and just keep on scoring, and getting the ball back everytime. Kfer, "hmmm, it's not rocket science, it's just football.

KF thinks the exact opposite of this guy. I'd love to see some one try it in major college football. Fun to watch!

I have been saying for a few years now, if your d can play decent and your across the 45, you need a very good package of 7 or so 4th down plays. Practice the heck out of those plays and only use them on 4th down. So many games come down to one score, one drive or just the last one to have the ball. Psu never would have done so well last year without working on those 4th down plays. Idk about onside kicks all the time, but in a way it is kind of the same idea.

Did any one watch the whole thing? Last minute of the film....the coach does not return punts....dont believe me? watch it.

He says, I have accomplished my goal, you are giving me the ball back, no need to risk penalites or other bad things

This would make KF's head explode.. i love this guys moxie. Interesting how many different fake punt formations they use to. I had never looked at it this way.. I always hate it when a team goes for it against us on 4th down. Or onside kicks or fake punts.

Great vid! What would we do without the contrarians of the world?

If KF watched this would he watch it all the way through? I say no.

At what point would he hit the stop button?

If you think about it... why not go for it on 4th down, at least anytime you are past the 50yd line? Punting doesn't gain you much... I mean lets say you are on the opponents 30yd line and its 4th down... what are you going to do, punt the ball?

It is actually around the 45 or so, depending on the percent of ingenuity, practice time and execution.

One approach is that there is X% chance that you pick it up with a whole lot to gain coupled with X% chance that they will score.

Another approach factors in confidence in the offense, what's working and the personnel - quality of offense and quality of defense going up against.

I think the whole thing is really intriguing and we'll see more of it as time goes on.
