Regardless of how many games we win this year...we're going to be fun to watch...Exciting basketball is back in Carver...I started cheering at the highlights on the news!! How long has it been since we've seen fast break oops and slams, and a reverse slam?! I'm going to consider getting season tickets or at least a couple of those mini packages or whatever!! I know they won't win that many, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if this team gets to 15-16 wins...and then an NIT next year?! How cool would that be!?

I agree I havent been excited about Iowa basketball for a few years and I love it. Thank god the football team has taken the spotlight. I too want to get to a 4-5 games this year. ( hard to do from des moines, already have my drake/ia tics )

Great to hear this. Looks like Coach Fran is already getting folks excited (and ready to buy tickets). That was one of his toughest tasks, and this one exhibition game has already started to generate results. Great news!

I believe it was Basabe. He has a solid inside presence. This team could do something.
They only need experience. Let's hope they get that quickly!
