I'm not even going to pay attention to what coaches do in the Tourney....

Most all of the guys in the Tourney are decent coaches that have decent players and a decent coach with decent players can put a great game plan together over the course of a couple of weeks (which is what most of the mid majors have for a layoff after their conference tournaments) to compete with one of the big boys. The problem for fans is trying to extrapolate that to being able to field a team year in and year out to compete in the rigors of the Big 10.

So I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the great games happening (by the way, what a GREAT 1st day) today. Nothing is served by trying to guesstimate how coach A's success in the tourney would translate to coaching the Hawks in an 18 game Big 10 schedule.

I'm startin too look at this like the selection commitee...

Body of work
How did ya finish
Who did ya play
Who did ya have

I agree. What the coach does over the course of a regular season should not be outshown by what happens in a couple of tourney games. (Is outshown a word?)
