Can't wait for this important game between the B1G and the AAC to kick off tonight. This is a big test of the conference and the coaching ability of Lovie Smith. Crazy enough the South Florida Bulls are favored by 17 points tonight.

Totally! Hoping this big game leads to a B1G/AAC Challenge in the future!

Illini special teams blocks two kicks, and returns an extra point try for a two point conversion. 6-2 score now.

Just your average run of the mill 6-2 football game with like nine penalties in the first quarter and a couple blocked kicks....

Mike Dudek made some catches a few years ago against Iowa, right? Because he is out there tonight.

Okay, I looked it up and in 2014 he burned the Iowa Defense for six catches and two touchdowns, but it wasn't enough to outduel the combination of Jake Ruddock and Mark Weisman and Iowa won easily.

Two minutes into the second quarter, and the game is averaging over one penalty per minute. There have also been a few that were waived off due to timeouts prior to the delay of game.

Watching the game, I feel much better about the Iowa, Illinois game.

I just want to say that Lovie Smith and Charlie Strong are high character guys who always teach their players about the pillars of character and being the right kind of person and doing things the right way.

25 penalties in the first half. Hard to watch.

Illinois looked decent on their scoring drive and they get the ball at half

S Florida looks way faster and way more athletic.
