Wow. We certainly understand how fast a team can fall. Illinois is one step lower on my chit list than Wisconsin. So far, it's a good start to the new year.

For a fanbase that sees itself as the 2nd coming of Kansas I have to wonder how patient Illinois will be with Groce?

I only hope that the fans blame the horrible year they are having on injuries, and keep Groce on board. If they do that, it will prolong the awful that Illinois is.

Yeah, you really have to wonder how long Groce will be around. Is this his 4th season? Has Illanoy even been competitive with Groce running the show? And yeah, this is enjoyable.

Watching Illinois stumble like this is comedy. With all the in state basketball talent Illinois has they should be one of the top basketball programs around.

I know Illinois is bad and it's funny, but on the other hand Indiana seems to be getting really good. I guess it will only make our RPI that much better when we beat them.

Indiana almost lost to Minnesota.

Our guards are probably the best tandem D in the league. I'm thinking Yogi will have a difficult time against them. Indiana goes as Yogi goes.

Yikes I should've looked at the results. That's brutal. Rutgers is pretty horrible. Was this before or after all their injuries?

I think their 3 players that have been hurt were hurt before that game. And i realize I'm tempting fate but if we struggle vs Rutgers that would be alarming as well

I'm still concerned about the road game at IU just because that will be a very tough environment, but yes. Gesell/Clemmons should be able to keep Yogi in check as long as they don't run into foul trouble.

I think we match up pretty good with Indiana, honestly. We have length, depth and 2 guards that can make things difficult for Ferrel.

What you laid out is a formula to beat every team in the country. Which is good.

I'll say this, if you believed the Iowa Football team deserved respect this year, then you have to respect Indiana. They're winning their games, sometimes in convincing fashion. Winning on the road against anyone is tough. Just ask MSU.
