I would really like to add this kid to the class. I can see so many uses for a kid like this. Slot reciever is a likely position considering the kids size. Off the top of my head you could run jet sweeps with this kid. You could run tunnel and bubble screens. You could run the wild cat with a run throw option. You could run a screen gadget that fakes the screen and throws down field. I feel like if we pitched the multiple possibilities and intended to follow through with them, we could land this kid. I just really like the way this kid runs. I definitely see playmaker ability. That is always what we seem to lack on offense.
 
Kelton Copeland was instrumental in the Evans' recruitment. He recruited his older brother to NIU and did a good job convincing Samson he could be a productive college WR.
 
I am very happy that the coaches were able to get Samson to see the light. His future definitely has more promise at WR then QB IMO. He should factor into being a nice piece for Brian and Kelton to use in the passing game. This is a good addition.
