This is hypothetically speaking as I obviously have no inside info but these 3 were not interested at any reasonable price....

Drew (could have been interested, but elite 8/final 4 probably made this highly unlikely)
Who could have Barta hired that unified the fan base? Not asking who you wanted, but who could have unified the fan base given the realistic circumstances (i.e. - not the over inflated view of our program).
Forbes? - split fan base in my opinion
Lavin? - split fan base in my opinion
Gregory? - I think he is the one that could have, but not sure he wanted to be here.
Anyone Else?
Or is Barta in over his head here? Is he a maintainer not a leader? Thoughts?
Personally, I am reserving judgement until I hear Fran McCaffery at the press conference before expressing concern or excitement. But he certainly does have a decent resume with experience at a big time institution with high expectations. That is what seperates him from Lick at this point (besides style of play) in my mind intially. Hopefully he understands what he is getting himself into.
