I suppose the fans at least care enough to show up and then boo if you stink, If the fans don't show up it means they don't care at all anymore. I'm not sure which is worse, i'd wager the latter. Just look at the bball situation, taking years to recover.

In all honesty I don't see how we lose more players (not just 1 or 2) after how the fans acted. I could understand the bad outing, and justify it. But I wouldn't want the fans to treat me that way.

I assumed he meant if you were a recruit. You don't have a lot of choices when your on the team.

No Im meant current players. The recruits had many reasons to leave. The booing just made sure they saw all of the reasons.

If you were a PLAYER you would be ashamed of seeing half the crowd leaving part way through the 3rd quarter because you STINK so badly! This was Central Michigan Part II only THIS time it was prime time and even WORSE! We got run over like a bunch of suicidal rabbits!

As a player is kind of different but still the same answer for me. Fans like that would make me consider transferring.
