There was an article from The Athletic that was linked on here recently from several years ago that was about BMC when he was still at NWMS. It quoted Texas Tech head coach Grant McCausland speaking very highly of BMC (both were at different schools at the time). So this may have been a step up for Barnwell that was blessed by the TT coach.
