If we continue the instate rivalry

Please work on a new trophy for the game. I don't think that anyone would disagree with this.

Iowa is full of talented artist. I am sure there is someone out there that could give us an amazing trophy that did not make Iowa look like they are passing around a high school state championship trophy.

I want a trophy that a player is willing to bleed over to get it.

I remember the 2008 Iowa/ISU game when Mitch King ran over to the ISU bench and grabbed the trophy and the football part was flopping around like it wasn't screwed in all the way. If I was Iowa I would just set the trophy on fire and force them to make a new one.

I say the more beat up it gets the better. Don't ever repair it, if parts break off, let them remain broken off. Kind of goes with the meaning and importance of the rivalry, which is little to nothing. Besides what a great trophy it would be with the football broken off and the arm of the player or the head broken off. Iowa should just tell the clowns to just keep the trophy -- and Iowa will just win the games.
