If OSU plays Oregon for the National Championship?

If OSU and Oregon run the table and Alabama loses, the NC very easily could be OSU vs Oregon. Who plays in the Rose Bowl if Iowa goes 10-2 and 7-1 (only losses to Arizona and OSU) and finished 2nd place in the Big 10? Lets say Arizona goes 11-1 and only loss is to Oregon and they finish 2nd place in the Pac 10.

Obviously, either Boise State or TCU would play in the Rose Bowl because 1 of those teams is going to finish in the top 8 of the BCS. But who would play against Boise State or TCU? Iowa or Arizona? I would think Iowa would be more attractive for the Rose Bowl because of our fan base. Iowa and Arizona would be At-Large BCS selections.

Arizona is the only PAC-10 team that has never been to the Rose Bowl. That's going to give them a boost, along with their close proximity to LA.

This might be the homer in me but....Boise St vs Arizona isn't as appealing of a game and Boise St./Iowa.

Would anyone East of Colorado care about that game?

Does the OP assume an Alabama loss? The more likely scenario - if Oregon and OSU continue their current levels of play - is that Oregon jumps OSU for the #2 spot.

For 'Bama's last 6 games, each of their opponents have a bye week the week before playing Alabama. That's gonna be rough.

Who do you see them losing to? I can see Stanford and Oregon but outside of those two I can't see anybody in the Pac 10 beating them.

I think the two you mentioned and UCLA. I can also see them dropping another one that they shouldn't. I really do not think they are that good. I'd love to be wrong and play them again in Pasadena!
