They play for national title unless some corrupt SEC crap goes down..

that at puts them in NC game
MSU In rose
wisc if they survive go to bcs bowl

does that out us in capital 1?

No. MSU will get the Rose if they are lucky but most likely they will take a higher ranked non B1G team and MSU gets the Orange. Wisconsin will then get the Capital One Bowl and we get the Outback Bowl.

B1G can't have 3 teams in BCS bowls. I am thinking that MSU and OSU will go to BCS regardless at this point. (Unless MSU gets destroyed)

As far as Iowa is concerned the Wisconsin loss could be very helpful. If MSU beats tOSU they will both make BCS bowls. We could then be picked over Wisconsin for the Capital One Bowl since we are within one game of them. We finished the season strong while they suffered an embarrassing loss to a team with several less scholarships.

you clearly have no clue what you are talking about

1. There's no way a 1-loss SEC team is going to jump Urban Meyer's Ohio State considering Ohio State hasn't lost a football game in over two seasons now.

2. There's no way the B1G is going to allow Ohio State to lose to Michigan State in the championship game.

couldn't disagree more.

I think MSU will hold OSU's O down to a reasonable point production ...low enough for Sparty to outscore them. Sparty has enough O to get it done. OSU does not have the D to win a championship.

OSU would get embarassed again in a NC game. I think people outside of Columbus already understand that.

We will not jump Wisconsin...I think the Outback could still pick Nebby

That's not going to happen. I suppose I should expand on that. One reason is they've played in the Cap1 the last 2 years, another is with this being the last year of B1G affiliation for the BWW/Insight bowl, a matchup between Nebraska and either Oklahoma or Texas would look mighty attractive.

I would not be surprised if auburn somehow jumped OAU in the bcs....very unlikely but a lot of voters will put them number 2 because they literally beat Saban and Alabama in a way no one figured anyone could...running the ball. I actually think fsu would be pressed by both auburn and osu because they are really similar teams that can dominate the ball and that is how you would beat fsu. Fsu defense is great but they haven't had to face teams like auburn or osu.

Let's not pretend that Auburn jumping Ohio State is that far-fetched of a scenario. In a business where the way you win - margin of victory - matters, Ohio State didn't pass the test today. They were two touchdown favorites and got taken to the wire by a barely above average Michigan team. They're likely going to struggle against MSU as well.

Compare that to Auburn, who beat the #1 team in the land today, and should they beat Mizzou next week (assuming Mizzou holds on tonight), that would give them two wins against top 5 opposition in two weeks.

I'm not going to argue about whether or not Auburn should jump Ohio State. I'm just saying don't be surprised if it happens.

Iowa has great history with the cap one.. not saying it'll happen but I'm sure it will at least be talked about

I think there is a super strong chance that a one loss Auburn team jumps OSU. ESPN is already working behind the scenes to put this in motion as they have a vested interest to see an SEC team in the NC game. I noticed tweets coming out almost immediately making the case that ACC divisions and the B1G leaders division are poorly rated in terms of strength.

This thing has been full of dirty politics for years to slant everything to the SEC.

SKH, ESPN so far on tv has been saying osu shouldn't be jumped but I'm guessing that'll change. If it happens that a one loss team who won 2 games by absolute luck jumps an undefeated team like osu, I'll never watch football again to include iowa.

Lou "Spitting" Holtz on ESPN during their post game discussions seemed offended by OSU even being considered for the NC over a one loss SEC team.

With OSU barely winning I could see Auburn jumping them, and even Mizzou jumping them if they beat Auburn. Not saying its right, but it could happen. If MSU beats OSU its moot of course. The computers are gonna love both Auburn and Mizzou and Auburn is a faster much better version of Michigan with a better offense and defense. I won't be surprised either way.

I'll say it again.. with the Wisco loss it's quite possible they drop out of the rankings.

That'd give OSU no wins over currently ranked teams heading into the B1G Championship game.

Even as a Big Ten fan, it's very easy to see them getting jumped. And frankly, I don't want to see them get rolled in the NCG..

Agreed, Wisconsin is done as far as the BCS is concerned.

And don't be surprised if Missouri beats Auburn..Auburn is a couple fluke plays from having 3 losses. Missouri is a fluke loss (up by 17 at home/missed extra point) from being 12-0. I will probably get ripped for saying this but I believe Missouri has better skill athletes than Alabama. They have 2 quarterbacks that can make plays, running the football. Big , fast wide outs. SEC title game should be a good one.
