If North Carolina goes .500 again next year

Umm...yes

They should be better next year even though they lose Thompson, Ginyard and possibly Ed Davis.

They will still have both Wears, Zeller and Henson, several good young guards coming back to go along with Barnes and two other amazing guards coming in. They will be just fine.

you must be joking, right?

williams is in his seventh year at unc. four conference titles, four elite eights, three final fours, and two national championships.

roy williams will be the coach at north carolina until he:
1) dies
2) retires
3) goes to the nba
4) gets caught drinking with duke students after the rivalry game

the win/loss record is irrelevant. i think they might even keep him around if #4 happens... it would depend on how sloppy he looks in the photos.

I heard from a very credible source that Roy is having trouble developing his players and it is very difficult to learn his system. We will see how Roy can coach with his own kids. Everybody knows all the kids from his first 7 seasons were Dean's players and recruits who comitted to UNC in jr. high.:)

Message boards are split right down the middle, half want him gone, while the other half still support him and see progress and light at the end of the tunnel. Many think that he is in over his head because anybody can win at Kansas because they don't play anybody in the big 12. Those that want him fired cannot understnd why UNC will not buy him out of his lifetime contract during these tough economic times? The AD is currently mulling over the idea of a soft extension without a raise while nixing the buyout so recruits will feel comfortable with UNC.:)

Harrison Barnes was recently heard discussing his displeasure with the situation in Chapel Hill. It appears he will be asking out of his LOI soon and has been seen numerous times recently in the Iowa City area shoveling snow at Nate Kaeding's new house that he bought from Todd Lickliter.:)

I'm just sayin!

love the post, foreverhawk.

the sad thing is there is probably some lone north carolina fan posting the exact same arguments in complete seriousness.

I can't explain UNC giving up 20+ offensive rebounds to duke. With their size and athleticism, they should outrebound their opponents 95% of the time and never give up even close to that many 2nd chances.

Definitely the sloppiest Duke-UNC game in recent years
