... what states will then qualify as "Big 10" country?
With the Big 12 dying that would then free up the TV markets, to some extent, in Kansas and Missouri.
Between the addition of Nebby and the iffy football fan following of Mizzou ... might that then qualify the Kansas City and Saint Louis areas (among other regions within Kansas and Missouri) as formally being in "Big 10 country?"
If so, wouldn't that be like killing 2 birds with one stone?
Additionally, Nebby has a pretty avid national following. Thus, that in itself, could draw more than anticipated cable/satellite subscriptions to the Big 10 network outside of Big 10 country.
I like the idea of the Big 10 passing on Mizzou. Even more so, I'm intrigued if we could bring Maryland into the fold. However, that's another topic ....
