This is my issue with the staff.....

not that we don't actively bid for players.. that dog won't hunt. leave that to the SEC but I am convinced he would not have played QB ala brad banks riding the pines behind mccann .....

We'd have a Heisman contender, be in national championship contention, and in 2-3 years from now we'd be on serious probation with all our wins forfeited and a program in shambles.

I agree with the OP. Cam Newton wouldn't have played QB for us. Our staff would have put him at tight end or something else stupid.
