If Iowa, MSU and WI win out, does OSU pass us in bowl?

If Hawks, Sparty and Bucky win out, Sparty goes to Pasadena and Bucky goes to BCS at large.

Even as a co Big 10 champion, does the Cap 1 bowl salivate at taking Ohio State, and drop Iowa down to Outback Bowl?

If we're not in the BCS, does it matter which bowl we go to?

Prestige-wise, it would be disappointing to get out-picked for the CapOne by OSU.

However, going to TAMPA is much better for the fan base from an enjoyment basis. Tampa is awesome, with so much to do!!

In my opinion, if it's not the BCS, it does not matter what bowl we go to this season. It would still be important to win whatever game that would be, however. But it doesn't matter, Bucky is going to drop one.

It would suck if Iowa finished 10-2 and fell to the Cap1, but I don't know that I would necessarily call it disappointing. Sometimes it just rolls that way.

That being said, I can't see a game like the Sugar Bowl picking OSU over the Hawks, especially if the Hawks have a head-to-head win that's less than two weeks old, and it's a game that Iowa has never been to.
