.... I can't think of him. That guy seems to hit every shot he takes with the clock or shot clock winding down.

I remember Dre hitting a few bigger ones in terms of meaning, most notably one to beat MSU at home as time expired. But I can't recall anyone doing it with as much regularity.

Seriously though, I am giving a compliment to Hawkeye basketball by saying there are more clutch players than Cartwright. I consider shots like the one Luke Recker hit in the Big 10 tourney to be clutch. Not shots at the end of the shotclock

As I said in the OP there have certainly been much bigger shots, but I can't recall anyone hitting as many desparation type shots as he has. That includes shot clocks and to close out halfs.
