If Delaney wants NY for expansion & ND isn't coming

We hear NY is more of a college basketball than football town. What about taking Syracuse & Rutgers and also ask North Carolina & Duke. That greatly enhances the basketball which NYC prefers. You add 3 perennial top 20 teams.

Plus I love the addition of Nebraska, but maybe the conference can get to a point where there are too many heavy weights in football. This would also give the Big 10 network great programming from November until mid-March.

the expansion idea isn't about adding good football and bball teams. You have to look way deeper than that, its about research dollars. That said UNC and Duke wouldn't be too interested.
