If BF was named HC

What kind of an offense would he run?

The reason I ask is I feel that any changes we have seen are due to BF standing up to KF(we have even heard rumors of shouting matches between the two behind closed doors). Now I dont think BF should be handed the job or anything I just think is more with the times.

What changes that we have seen do you speak of? I ask because I have seen very few changes that have had good results for us. Please elaborate

Would be a travesty to hire BF based on his current body of work. I could care less about his last name, doesn't make him head coaching material.

I am not even a fan of the next head coach necessarily having Iowa ties.........Hayden didn't and that worked out ok.

BF isnt ready, but he will be at some point. He will be a HC, whether that happens at Iowa or not, who knows. I will say this, he and Reese Morgan are the best 2 coaches on the Iowa staff and its not debatable. BF reminds me of Bielema a little bit, but actually has some class. Hes not afraid to speak his mind, he knows his **** and hes not afraid to ruffle some feathers.

If BF is to be a head coach he needs to prove himself at his current position first (he hasnt).

Running those 2 TE sets that Penn St. ran and what NE runs couldn't have been any worse than what we have seen from a GD offense so far.

"We" have heard rumors? List the contents of "we", as this is the first I have heard of any "shouting matches behind closed doors".

I remember reading about this on this site last fall. I'm not going to put the effort into locating that specific thread, but I clearly remember reading about it.

If BF was exactly like his dad minus the trait that makes him plan his entire game day strategy around ways to minimize opportunities to possibly make mistakes, he would be the best coach in Iowa history.

Here's the closest thing I could come up with during a cursory search...

I respectfully disagree. There was some behind the scenes tension. Quite a lot of tension actually. A shouting match between one assistant and the administration.

It resolved itself.

Although I do agree KF has not been remotely close, he was the closest recently.

Doesn't matter. I don't care to prove what I'm saying for obvious reasons, and I wasn't directly in the room, so the argument is mostly academic.

But it wasn't between Brian and anyone (or at least I don't think so...I don't know why Brian would be arguing with the administration having not even started his first season as an assistant).
