IA FB Arrests Stats: OWI=1 game suspension

22 Iowa football players have been arrested in the past 10 years. (Not including DJK)
6 public intox -You have to appreciate a law that tells people it is less risky to drive home.
2 public intox/interference with official acts
2 marijuana
1 painkillers - We get them addicted to painkillers, then arrest them when their prescription runs out.
2 sexual assaults - Drastically worse than what DJK did.
2 credit card fraud - Drastically worse
2 assaults - Drastically worse
1 domestic abuse -Drastically worse
4 OWI - This is drastically worse. Drunk drivers kill 13,000 a year and they kill other people as opposed to themselves!

Not being sarcastic or a Dick, but that number seems low... you sure? Seems like there were a dozen in one year. If we are averaging 2.2 a year, that isn't so bad. Hell I had two MIP's at Iowa before I turned 21, finished in 4 years, 3.2 gpa in bus admin., worked 20 hours + a week all four years.... if I was an athlete I would be a cancer..

This is arrests. You dont get arrested for a minor posseession or in a bar after hours. You just get cited and released.

So in your opinon is a child molester a less of an offender than an OWI since an OWI can potentially result in death? I don't follow your logic.

Not at all child molestor's obviously are committing severe involuntary transactions. My logic is that there is a big difference between something that both parties do voluntarily and one party forces another to do. Parental consent is obviously an issue with minors.
