Michael Malloy of Sioux City...recently gained an Iowa offer...was to be in Iowa City today. Will be surprised if it's not him

he is #26 in this vid

Iowa is looking at him as a RB and WR....from watching the clips (and this is not an expert opinion by any stretch) I see his speed as an asset as a receiver...he appears to be more of a long strider and that can cause some issues in the backfield where quicker feet are needed much of the time...most RB's don't get a chance to get into their high gear but a few times a game...so speed to and through the LOS is more of a premium...however, when he gets in space, he has some jets

Probably return man in the future - Punts/Kickoffs

He has good downhill skills and instincts, just don't see the type of lateral quickness which leads to the one-cut explosion Iowa RB's that have been successful under Ferentz have had.

Adam Robinson was not a jet, but his toughness in the hole, his balance and his footwork are why he was successful in Iowa's scheme. I'd love to have someone like him in the stable every season.

Dynasty, if he's a long strider as Jon indicated than is PR a good spot for him? Perhaps, if he demonstrates good hands as KF values ball security over big play potential. Case in point- Andy Brodell did not have quick burst and took a while to reach top gear, but we used him as PR. Sure he had success, but probably not the ideal place for him.

Kirk likes sure hands at PR and get me 10 yards.

Brodell was hardly a prototype that you see around the nation...but he had good hands.

The best make that first guy miss and can get to top speed in about four steps. We'll probably never see the likes of Tim Dwight back there again :(

I dunno Jon. I rarely drool over high school highlight films but I envision Jordan Canzieri being a pretty special one in that role. Time will tell.

Except vs NW in 2008. Ugh :(
