I was at game

Team came out like they had somewhere else better to be. Played like it as well. As a native Iowan and an alum, I am ashamed of this program. Getting held hostage by a coach that has lost the desire or will to win and motivate players. Grandpa Greg Davis should be **** canned right now.

I would like to triple like this post. I am honestly ashamed to be an alum of the University of Iowa after their performances the past two weeks. It's just embarrassing that we have a coach who collects his millions, and doesn't seem to care what happens with the program. I will be at the Purdue and Nebraska games, and will be bringing a paper bag to wear over my head that says "we're paying 4 million for this??". This team and coaching staff are a joke, and they should be ashamed of themselves.

I'm not, and never will be. Step away from the ledge.

But I am bitterly disappointed in the performance of the team and staff.

I understand going to the game. I've got tickets for Purdue and Nebraska. However if fans really want to voice their disgust for the state of the program, I suggest staying at home.

Wearing paper bags and booing don't get anywhere and they actually make the program look worse.

The only thing that will force change is empty seats.

Saying that KF doesn't care about the program, or about winning is absolutely ridiculous.

Take a step back, breathe, and cool off. This wasn't going to be a great year, you should have figured that out after the ISU loss. Stop acting so surprised.

Things will get better. The players deserve our support. They are still working hard, even though some of them are just not talented enough to get the job done.

You see while there is some logic in that post - there are things that happened in that game that have always happened and have nothing to do with lack of talent or expectations.

Poor play calling, bad clock management - sure the players may have more experience next year ect

But this coaching staff is failing, declining... I really don't see it coming around.

.

there's a difference between not being great and missing a bowl game on a very easy schedule.

Some of you people need to stop acting like cry babies and gain a little perspective. Having a losing season is no reason to be ashamed of a program.

This is.

I'll admit that the 3 delay of game penalties were horrible, and they came at critical moments that in hindsight took points off the board for Iowa.

The coaches and JVB all have the ability to call timeout, and none of them did. They all failed at managing the clock today....especially JVB. To get a delay of game penalty when you are in a no-huddle, 2 minute offense is unbelievable. I wouldn't be surprised if its the first time its happened in the history of everything.

I think Bullock really looked solid. The defense finally showed up, too little too late. I agree that they seemed like they weren't enthused out there. Hyde made some good plays. The rest of the season is going to be a steep hike, but I still support these guys that are giving their all on the field. I will still be there for the last two home games and rooting them on, hoping for the best.

Save it. If we are going to be a **** program then lets start acting accordingly. I don't have three hours to write why the athletic department is acting like we are Alabama, LSU, Texas, etc.
