I thought the wholesale changes to the offensive coaching staff

would pay dividends, but it seems more like a dumpster fire with no cohesion or identity.

Our OL can't seem to run OR pass block. Our receivers still have the drops. We still, inexplicably, run to the short side over and over. And there's no discernible offensive identity whatsoever.

Maybe they get it figured out over the remaining games and have something to build on for next year...but they're quickly running out of time. And with two full weeks to prepare, and to see this kind of regression on offense, is frustrating...to say the least.

We’re done for.

All 3 linebackers gone, no one at receiver that stands out coming back, a QB who isnt getting it, and an OL that doesn’t follow Iowa tradition by sucking ass.

Without a Wadley or Beathard to compensate for horrible play calling and brand new guys in the defensive backfield we are in for a long line of shit sammiches.

If you put a new coat of paint on a 72 LTD it’s still a 72 LTD. I assume this is the car Kirk drives as it’s the year his schemes are from.

His schemes ain't much different than Wisky's. And their recruiting ain't much different than ours. We just aren't developing at near the pace that they are.

Just think if Daniels goes pro.

Their OL is orders of magnitude better than ours so that type of scheme works. The run game can run, and their quarterback has time to throw. If defenses have to be aware of the run and pass, you win games.

Iowa’s opposing defenses know that all they have to do is blitz 90% of the time and we turtle up.

I bought into the injuries on the o-line caused a the lack of cohesion........that excuse doesn’t work today. NW gave you every opportunity to win and you didn’t take advantage......it never should have came down to the Fant drop.

Their OL better because they're developing them better. Our OL dev been pretty piss poor the last several years...

Wisconsin plays more Man-to-Man on the OL scheme. BUT, they do mix it up. It's not all they do, and they seem to adapt better.

Our zone blocking scheme has been figured out. I think it can still work, but only once or twice a game will we run counters, pull blockers...etc to throw the defense.

We just keep doing what we do because it worked in 2002, and it'll work now!
