I think last time around, before Alford was hired, the ideas being floated were pretty detached from reality. This time, it seems that we know what we want, and have a pretty good idea of where to get it.
The fact that the guy is a native Iowan is not a big deal to me, but it is a nice touch. At least we can be sure he knows his way around Iowa City and won't get lost on the wrong side of the river.
