...for all you coaching experts who have never coached a day in your lives and probably never played beyond freshman football. Next time a position opens on the Hawkeye's staff put in your application. Just paste all your insightful posts on your resume. I am sure you will get hired. Iowa won the game. Yes there were mistakes. But none of you are at practice every day to be making suggestions as to who should be playing and what plays should be run. You guys are so negative you can't even enjoy a win over our biggest rival.

I applied when they posted the OC job and never heard back. I'm pretty sure they are pretty much like any other government job or job at a big company - by the time it is posted there is already a candidate who has been hired.

So, you are saying there's a chance? Lighten up Francis.

We have some positives and we have some negatives. If you haven't figured out who the "doom and gloom" guys are on this board and just ignore their comments, you need to think about doing it. I know the rant pretty well now, so I can read a sentence and skip to the next as the agenda is all about replacing KF, which they have no control over and hence a futile attempt at nothing. Just focus on guys that have a sound take. It's fun.

Yep, listen to me, WinOneThisCentury, BoomerSooner and imported_cAnkle23 and you'll learn a lot.

if it makes you feel any better, tommy applied too and that didn't get him anywhere either. i have a strong feeling there is a nepotism problem in iowa city.

Wouldn't get the job because I'm not on the Ferentz Friends and Family Plan.

I have viewed posts on here for several years and finally decided to join and post my thoughts also. I too can be critical of coaches and players. Before this game everyone was ranting that we better win. Then we win and they still are criticizing because this play wasn't called and this player didn't play. I just get tired of the negativity just for the sake of negativity. And by the way I am also a Philly fan, so I know all about fan negativity.

Some people just like to *****, 1982. They've got the right. When you come across it just skip to the next post. The worst time for negativity around here is Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, after a game. It used to be bad only for losses but now it doesn't matter. Maybe you start some off topic threads to get people's minds of Iowa football?

Or maybe a thread about Iowa changing their uniforms? We used to have one every month around here but now it's been, what guys?... help me out....at least two?

Well I don't think I have to avoid the Negative Nancys. They are like the school yard bullies and try to intimidate everyone else with their negativity. I am tired of it. And no I will not start some stupid thread about uniforms. I love Iowa's uniforms.

Its about time somebody said something. We should be more than happy given the 2 game winning streak. Things dont come easy at Iowa. I didnt catch the whole second half because of my boss but I did see us cover an onside kick so there is improvement.

IAHAWK1982 you are a great fan and good person. Please post more we need your kind around. Man there is a bunch of stuped idiot people around here.

Well I had never lost a dynasty game in NCAA -- mostly because I shut off the Xbox if I do. I also boast about 20+ national titles. So that about qualifies me right?

@hawkfan1319 or you could be like my nephew and create a running back who is 6'7" 250# that no one can tackle.
